A Few New Lines We Love

The Little House continues to bring you wonderful new lines as we discover them. Today on the blog we introduce you to three that we think you will love. In all of these lines we appreciate the gorgeous fabrics and the detail. We think you will too!

Cupcakes & Pastries

This girlswear line first debuted in Spring 2009. Creator Inshi Khanna said, "Initially the dresses were created with my daughter in mind, and after seeing how adorable the dresses turned out, we (my husband and I) knew we would introduce them to the market."
Taking inspiration from nature, architecture, and old Indian, English and French movies, Khanna has put together timeless dresses for girls with a woman’s contemporary flair. As the name suggests, the concept behind Cupcakes & Pastries was the mother-daughter afternoon tea parties where cookies, candies, tea, and cupcakes & pastries are served!

Blu Pony Vintage

Founder Bonnie Matthews was tired of her work as a server at a trendy LA bar and in photography production. In 2010, her hobby of collecting vintage Americana kids clothing inspired the creation of her line, Blu Pony Vintage. The line draws on the look and feel of clothing from the 1920 and 1930s.
Because synthetic fabrics didn't exist in the '20s and '30s, Blu Pony Vintage uses only natural cottons, silks and wool. Embellishments such as lace ruffles and pewter buttons are special additions to the pieces. Blu Pony Vintage is manufactured in Los Angeles.

ilovegorgeous

This line for girls was created in the UK in 2006 by two friends, both moms of three children. Both mothers had fashion backgrounds and knew the only way to dress their children as they liked was to do it themselves. ilovegorgeous opened its London store in 2008.
The line uses mixes of fabrics, colors, trims, and even hints of sparkle. The creators say that the aim of the brand is to "make everyday and party wear for girls who love to be girls an aren't afraid to show it."
